So I just picked up my second batch of chicks EVER. My first group is 9 weeks old now and in the coop. Anyway, these new little guys, (4) 3 day old Easter eggers are acting different than my others in that they are laying all sprawled out with their necks and wings spread far apart. They are not huddled either so I thought they might be too hot but the heat lamp is only on half their brooder with access to cooler temps on the other side. They are still laying directly in the heat, which is still around 90*. Anyway, since I'm new at this and pretty clueless, I'm worried. Should I be? Or are they behaving normally?
