Are Orpington cocks aggressive?

My orp rooster is the meanest of the bunch He hates me. Literally. He is fine with everyone else but me. He watches when I come near the coop and follows me as I walk the length of the run and go inside the coop. Alot of the time he will jump at the run fince trying to get me. I do not go inside his coop with protection. He has attacked me many times. Hewill be gone soon I am waiting for his son to grow. The funny thing is I have always taken care of him ever since he was a day old. I am or was the only one who fed and watered them. Now my daughter or my son feeds him and forget trying to get the eggs. A few weeks ago he bit my finger and broke the tip. No more orp roosters for me. The first time I see aggression they are gone.

I have one that is a sweetheart. He doesn't want people to touch him, but her's never been aggressive to anybody. Other roosters are another matter.

His offspring are horrible to my other birds, they are soon headed for the crockpot. They bully my other birds that aren't remotely interested in bothering them.

I don't have a BO roo. But I will say that my SS roo is the sweetest boy I have. He is Super sweet to me and others. Not too hard on the girls(yet) either. So maybe a SS would be a good choice?

I thought BO cocks were supposed to be nice!!!!

Does that mean our dear little Mr. incredible's going to turn out a bully? I picked BO cock because I thought they were one of the better choices for a keeper.

So 3 out of 10? 30% Oh boy.

My lavender orp roo was a sweetheart when he wasn't top roo but now that he's top roo he's become an asshat drawn blood twice this month he comes at me again he's gone I don't have time for a mean bird when I have so many cockerals available to take his place.
