actually ive listened to alot of true crime and i will say most serial killers love to kill animals for fun as young children so

It depends. If they have a spouse and kids and a full time job, not at all. That’s hard enough taking care of a bunch of heathens (joking ). If they are single and don’t travel too much… maybe that is odd. But at the same time I could see why someone would be unsure of getting a dog. Most people’s dogs are very badly behaved, lunging and barking at other dogs, pulling towards other people, stealing food off counters, chasing cats, pooping in the house, etc. Honestly, my dog is the only well behaved dog I know. If I saw all of these dogs and had never had a dog before I might be afraid to get one. Now other pets though I don’t see why someone wouldn’t want one if they didn’t have many other obligations.

But the thing is, you don't know what other people's motives are, so you are in no position to judge. Maybe that person has allergies. Or phobias. Or had a bad experience as a child. Maybe they have other obligations that prevent them from having pets right now. Maybe they want to travel the world. Maybe they're taking care of a sick relative. My point is, who are we to judge? It's nobody's business but the person themselves.

I've never liked petless people, they're super weird and I just can't shake the heebie-jeebies
