Husky mix here. I use to try to keep up with when we first got her. I realized it was a losing battle when my vacuuming robot would choke at least once a day and died after 3 months.
We spent money and had our mals groomed. It was cheaper than killing Meile canister vac's every 6 mos. They'd let me brush them out but then I'd not be able to breathe for like 4 days after. So I happily paid the groomer :)

I don't understand this question. What's "without pets"? Do people really do that? Life without dogs is like an unsharpened pencil, there's no point. :)

I know a doggo who will show you just how to unsharpen a pencil in multiple pieces
Very talented

Same. Daisy loves being brushed. A bath, not so much, but a filthy mud puddle she rolls in.

She use to belong to a friend that was moving and asked me to watch her for a few days while they got settled and were going back and forth.

At one point my dad let her outside while I was busy folding laundry . . I had everything folded neatly and stacked on the bed ready to be put away.

She bounds in from outside . . . covered nose to tail in mud and plops down in the middle of the once clean and neatly folded laundry, grinning from ear to ear . . . .

She was so happy I couldn't do anything but laugh . . . she didn't have a yard at my friend's house (old or new) and was always on leash when she outside . . . she was just so happy to be a dog, running loose and playing . . .:love

It was a few months later she actually became mine when my friend decided she'd be happier in a home with a yard.

I was thinking store bought 'canned' vegetables.
Yep, that's what it was. More than likely there was hair in the air because the dog was always close, and it just appeared they were already in the can. We still joke about here. She was a great dog. 💜

Pet rocks exist for a reason. All I'm sayin'.
As kids, we all had Pet Rocks. DB would walk around rattling a bunch of them in his metal bucket, declaring he had a "Rock Concert." DB was very annoying!
