I get pooped on by the chickens at least once a day, sleep on 1/10th of my bed sharing with my 90lbs dog, and basically change my entire life to accommodate my dog… not weird at all

We used to open canned vegetables and would find the border collies hair inside. True story.

If you thin BC's shed a lot (and they do, I've had them for years!) then try a BC/Newfie mix. Mine's a 97 pound moose that sheds like a bear. Still, I wouldn't trade him for the world. A day without dog hair is a day spent too far from home!
