I will remove the pits. Also, I want to say that grapes are fine. Mine eat them all the time. But then again I have only bought seedless. But I wonder if maybe their response that chickens can’t have them simply comes from the fact that dogs and other pets cannot??? They are toxic to dogs and maybe they just assumed that they were toxic to chickens too. But that’s not true and dogs and chickens are very different. Anyhow, I think mine would be pretty upset if I stopped giving them grapes and watermelon in the summer!! Blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries too.
