My hens have been laying since January. The eggs are a very nice size now and I know they're fertilized as I've seen the bulls eye. Is it a bad idea to hatch these eggs or should I wait til the hens are older? They'll be 1 year old in August.

TIA!

I'm a nut--I've already got eggs coming this week and next that will fill up the 2 hovabators and now I'm dying to try some of my own!

Where's the best place to get a hovabator 1588--that's the really good one, right?

I got my gensis 1588 with automatic turner
from cutlers supply !55.95 delivered from michigan.
but you could also check the manufactor.
if thats closer to you. it may save you some del. charges. i think the total was $167.00?? I looked at them on line then called and ordered .. hope this helps

2 years ago we got our hovabator and the turner from our farm store. This year our farm store is selling the LG. I think they are selling for about $50. Never really looked at the price.

Oh no here we go! another hatch-a-holic!
