I have some WH ducklings coming soon, and I wanted to feed them something with sufficient niacin. I found the Purina Duck Pellets at a Tractor Supply. It seems like most options for feeding ducklings and chicks are a crumble. Are pellets a choke hazard (should I grind them up)? Also, do these still need to be supplemented with any additional niacin?

3/32 is small enough, don't know what size their pellet is. Do they not sell a waterfoul starter? I know mazuri does and its 3/32 as well

They did not have a waterfowl starter here. The bag says it's appropriate for young ducks. The pellet is definitely bigger than 3/32 in length. Perhaps I should blend them up a bit just to be safe.

Sorry i should have been more clear, 3/32 diameter. You can crush them if you want but just lightly, ducks have a real chokeing problem with fine particles.
