are road island reds good meat and egg layers?

If not what kinds are, I read the profile from here saying reds were.... And i see them sold locally witch is a big factor

My RIR is 20 some weeks old and lays and egg nearly every day. She isn't as big or as frequent a layer as my Plymouth Rock though.

Thx, I'm 100% new to chickens, ill be getting them in the spring. Just bought half an acre with a house and gargage and shed and lastly a chicken coop, kinda
