Are Salmon Favorelles dumb?

I will have to argue against the silkie part, mine were brighter then my normal birds, very kind, some were top hens.

never had a silkie i always wanted one tho but are they good layers?

Pure doesn’t mean exhibition. Skull vaults on Silkies bred for show are far larger.

I bought one of them at a bantam show. Anyway, probably best to stop this discussion or move it to another thread since OP wants to know about her Faverolle.

They aren’t great, no. There are better egg laying breeds out there, especially since the eggs are tiny.

I'd describe Salmon Faverolle females as simple. lol The males are very randy.

They are quiet and a bit stand offish but rather tame. I have 4 of them. Yep, I had to cut the boys toenails just a little but he stopped mating for a while. He is a bit sensitive. lol They are goofballs
