Are seramas healthy?

I've studied domesticated animals and their health problems for a little while now, and it is pretty terrible the things people think look good in animals that really just cause them a short, painful life, such as bugging eyes, some kinds of pigeons, dwarfisim, some types of crested animals, some forms of hairlessness, neurological conditions, ect. However, Seramas are adorable, pretty, and I hear they are also friendly and healthy.
I am most certainly not putting the breed or breeders down, I am simply wondering if breeding for such an exaggerated body shape leads to any health or behavior problems? Can they eat, groom, fly, drink, breed, brood, and walk normally?

I would love to know, because if they are in fact healthy little birds, I'm certainly planning on getting some for myself.

Thanks for any advise.

I've found them to be very hardy! They are active, and have tons of personality. The fly, eat, drink, and walk normally. The hens do have a bit of trouble brooding, since they can hardly cover even 2-3 eggs, but they are still capable. The tails and overall body are certainly overexaggerated, but it doesn't effect them in any way. In fact, if I didn't know better, I'd say they were proud of their appearance. The males coo and dance any time I approach them, as if to say, "Look at me! I'm a fancy rooster!"

They are definitely one of the friendliest breeds I've encountered. The males will dance and make little rooster-noises when sitting on my arm, and one of them I often flip onto his back and carry him around like a baby, and he's very chill about it.

Here's one of the Seramas I've interacted with. This guy and the others aren't mine - they're my bosses' - but I care for them and hold them frequently at work, so I have quite a bit of experience with them.
