I sure wish I had found this site before my chickies arrived! (I didn't run across it until I was looking for answers to a pasty butt problem.) All this info would have saved me some stress!
My tracking was all screwed up. Showed my chicks stuck in Missouri for 2 days. I was frantic (and this was early in the coronavirus lockdown days so also a bit prone to panic already) on the day they were supposed to arrive. Called the general (800) Post Office customer service number as soon as they opened but they couldn't tell me anything. I was waiting for the hatchery to open so I could call them when the call came from my local PO saying they were here. I called my husband in tears of relief. Received 17 chicks 2 days after they were shipped and despite my newbie blunders everyone is now 9 weeks old! Good luck with your chickies!

The others are cute fluffy and happy in their new home. I put them in their brooder in the run.
