Are Silkie roos Loud?

Hello everyone!
This spring will be the second time I get silkies and silkies aren't sexed when we get them so there is a chance that I will get little roos. Last spring I got silkies and I only got girls which was good as some of our neighbors don't like all the crowing. But I want a rooster so I could get some fertilized eggs to hatch and maybe sell but I don't know if they are quieter than other roosters.
Do you know if silkie roos are a little bit quieter than regular sized Roos?

Mine don’t crow as much as the bigger breeds. But they crow just as loud as my Blue Andalusian Rooster.

They are loud, but do not crow very much.

Not really. I’ve only heard him a handful of times. Now I had some last summer that crowed all day long and it got on my nerves. I think it depends on the bird.

Actually Yes! I was thinking about the collar just now and wondering if it even worked good. Have you ever used the no-crow collar?

ugh, those things are inhumane. they basically force him not to crow because the collar is made to hurt if he does trust me i had one once

They stop the rooster from gathering enough air to crow, from what I understand about them--though, admittedly, I've never used one. I don't live in an area that cares about roosters.

I think that the real problem is that they don't always work. They have to be seated just right, they need repeated adjustments. Some people swear by them, some swear they don't work.
