are thai and shamo the same thing

i cant find anything about the thai chickens and wen i tipe in thai on wiki it just says shamo. are they the same thing

I know.If you look at the post above,i stated that something went wrong when i tried to post a different link.It put up backyard chickens for some reason.

Nooo they are not the same. Thais originate from Thailand, Shamos from Japan. Shamos are usually bigger, a lot more meaty and lengthy, and with less tail than Thais, while Thais even have a shorter set neck. They hold less of a pea-comb than Thais, (a much more vulture type look) and don't have as many recognized colors. Also, Shamos are APA recognized - Thais are not. I am sure a breeder can tell you a lot more of their differences.
