Are the Barred Rock and Plymouth Barred rock the same?

I was wondering, i see them I have 2 barred rocks, but I thought it was like a sex-link breed.

"Barred rocks" are merely the short way of referring to Plymouth Rock - barred. There are white Rocks, partridge colored "rocks" and the like. Plymouth Rock is the breed, barred is the feather color pattern.
