Are there any Game Wardens on here

I'm really looking hard at becoming a game warden after college, so I thought I'd check around here and see if there are any on here to talk to.

I'm not a game warden (though I know you asked for one), but I considered it as a career, too. Though I like protecting wildlife, I didn't really liked the police aspects of the job. If you are leaning towards law enforcement, but want something different that involves wildlife and nature, I think this would be a good career. It's more law enforcement than wildlife focus, from what I've seen and known about the job. You'll most likely be spending your time checking for licenses and writing tickets.

First you have to get PC. Today they are called Conservation Officers. They're still game wardens to me though.

There was a show on Nat Geo about the California. That show is what pointed me towards that career.

They have more legal power than regular cops here. They do a lot of police work with the county sheriff's office. Like others said, it's as much a cop job as an animal job.

They are the only law enforcement agency in the us that can arrest the president and senator's with out going through all the stuff that other agencies would have to go through.Wish the current dictator would go poach a deer

The CO's i know around here make a very good living,like over 100 grand a year,plus an excellent benefits package.
