Are there any negative effects of bird wormer residue in unborn chicks inside the egg?

If I worm my chicken now, and they continue to lay eggs until 2 weeks from now, is there a negative effect to the unborn chick inside an egg that contains bird wormer residue? Also, is it possible that chicks born with bird wormer residue in their system, will experience some negative effects?

I would not take the chance that it would cause a problem. I would not incubate the eggs.

Seems like I recall someone on the board using the withdrawal time for worming to collect eggs for incubating, since they couldn't eat them. I had the impression they had done this routinely before. I don't know anything about wormers first hand, but you could so a board search for that person--seems like it was quite a while ago, though, like last spring.

According to some post that I read, it is ok to incubate eggs that have bird wormer residue. Is it really ok to incubate those eggs or not, before the residue is completely out of their system?
