its a goo you put in your chickens to stop them from pecking eachother. it smells really bad. Truvy, my faverolle got some of the feathers pecked off the back of her neck so I put some on her.

I have a couple questions for you folks who are non-straight and/or non-cisgender:

Do your family members/the people you grew up with, 1. hate or reject you outright (e.g. kicked you out of the house, refuse to talk to you)...2. refuse to face reality or accept (e.g. "it's a sin but we love the sinner, we just need to pray harder for them)...3. tiptoe around and pretend it doesn't exist (e.g. "We don't hate those people, but It's probably just a phase for our family member")... 4. give lip-service to accepting you but don't want to talk about it (e.g. love and accept your partner but call them your "friend" or "roommate" and introduce them around as such, even within close family members) 5. Love you and accept you and are trying to educate themselves, but don't quite yet understand fully (as a 60-y-old cis/hetero grandma, this is where I believe I am towards my family members, but I would like to continue to progress towards ->) ...6. accept and understand you fully?

My second question is, how much does religion affect which of these attitude categories your families fall into? And what religion are they?

I was tempted to make a poll, but I feared it might be considered disrespectful, or possibly attract trolls, IDK. So answer if you feel like it, or not.

My parents are probably category 6, I haven't said anything about myself yet, but my older sister is so....

My grandparents on my moms side are probably 4 or 5, along with my dads brother & wife maybe. Then my other grandparents and rest of family would probably a 2 or 3. Potentially a 1.

My parents are Christian, but left church when I was like, 7? 8? I dunno. Because of all the terribleness of the church. Most of my close family are Christians, and are very Chrisianish. In a kind of bad way.
