No. I know that they do, just when people say stuff like that I feel like it hurts more than it helps. As in, straight people aren’t the ones getting shunned, and kicked out of church, it’s the nonstraight people.

Just like what people are doing to Black Lives Matter. They’re saying it’s stupid because “all lives matter.” Which is true, but white people aren’t getting murdered, beat up, arrested for no reason, or just generally being treated unfairly.

I grew up poor white trash and believe me I was always being targeted and treated unfairly.
If you want me to believe black lives matter you're gonna have to at least act like mine matters just as much.

It's not as normal because it isn't as common -- homosexuals are a minority group. It won't be as normal as being straight until 50% of the population is gay, which is very unlikely to happen.

Being Type 1 diabetic isn't normal, either -- due to this, am I allowed to be proud of being diabetic?
