Are there any rules regarding selling hatching eggs through the mail?

yes there are laws that goveren that such as some places require npip(??) tested chickens. there is paper work that has to filled out. i would suggest looking it up or going to your post office and ask them about it

Some of the regulations vary by state. I am in Virginia, which has very strict requirements for the shipping of any poultry due to Tyson and Perdue's operations here. The Virginia regulations are found in the state code. You could do a google search on your state's code and look in the appropriate section to find what requirements exist for your state. You could also look at your state veterinarian's website. Virginia's is under the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS, as we affectionately call it).

i am looking for more d'uccles please pm me if you have any available (eggs only unless you live close to me), how much for a dozen, what colors you have, and if possable please send some pics of some of your breeders thank you

Ok, I just bought some sultan eggs from ebay for a very decent price. There are so many nice bantams and standard breed hatching eggs on ebay. A couple sundays ago, i was bored, i decided to bid on 4 auctions and won all of them. The shipping and handling fees tend to be more expensive than the eggs themselves. elen18 sells Sultan bantams. She goes above and beyond expectations too. She also sells many other very beautiful breeds including bantams. I HIGHLY recommend her for hatching eggs.
