I am asking because this stupid incubator won't keep the humidity...I had to help 2 silkie chicks hatch yesterday, and they are fine. However, I didn't intervene soon enough on one and it was dead in the egg. I have 8 eggs in the incubator now, and they aren't making much progress at all, and I am afraid that they are drying out. I know there are live chicks in some of them, but I am afraid there wont be for long if I don't do something. What should I look for to know if they are drying out or just late?
