Good morning pond. Dr put me on a week of prednisone for some inflamed joints (fell on my back last fall and hurt it then hurt my shoulder and knee attempting to exercise this spring). I'm hoping it helps but I'm feeling a bit yicky this morning. Those things are gross to take and then just leave me feeling sick after. I also have to go to the neurologist... apparently I very likely have something called prosopagnosia (face blindness). I've never been able to recognize people/ faces and didn't know that it was an actual thing. I can recognize people when they're where I know them from, like all my coworkers. I can recognize them at work but I'll walk right past them if I see them at Walmart because I basically just don't see our recognize them. I guess that's my weird quirk lol

We all have our quirks, may yours be minor ones.

Found that long time on prednisone was what caused osteo arthritis in my bones.
Found I had psoriatic arthritis Otezla was the med that fixed me.

I sent him a couple cards when he got sick (brain tumor, right??), and then a condolence card for his funeral.

My dad had a friend that had it so bad, that he kept a photo of his wife in his breast pocket.

I'm blessed that I'm not THAT bad. I can recognize my close family... most of the time. There was one time when my son was little and I gave him a haircut. The next morning my mom took him to daycare since I had to work early. I had no clue what he was wearing and I didn't know which one he was when I got there to pick him up. I felt like the worst mother in the world. Thankfully, I've gotten pretty good at playing it off and just called his name and he was happy to see me lol
