Are there vets for aging chickens

I have 2 young chickens that just started to lay but I wonder are there veterinarians for old chickens like dogs and cats. I will never eat my pet chicks and just wondered how you keep them healthy when they are old or when they need put down because I could never kill my chicks.

They need the same care as any normal chickens. Just make sure that if you get any more hens the younger hen's let the older girls eat.

I keep um till they fly to heaven.
We only put down one of our birds, but he was very hurt.
