Are these white chicks called porcelain or just a mix? Is the dark one just a partridge?
The big golden one is my rooster. Mothers are partridge and one white. Grandmother is white, grandfather was a dark partridge. I know anything can pop up genetically.

Following!

I have some white x partridge chicks as well so I’m curious if there’s any terminology for the colourings you’ve posted. They are now 7 weeks and their colouring has changed so much since week 1 (but looked very similar to yours around week 4).

Porcelain in Silkies is buff and lavender over several generations. The chick in the second photo looks a bit like one but it looks more blue based. To complicate things even more porcelain is often called “blue cream“ though there is no blue genetics in the coloring. Porcelain should breed true when crossed with another porcelain.
I just hatched this porcelain chick 2 days ago from an egg I got from a breeder who does work with this coloring. As you can see the chick has very light silvery grey down and then has a lighter almost yellow colored head. Porcelain is still a project color and not officially recognized.
