Are these African goslings?

Oh, dear.  Well, at least the geese and ducks can enjoy the puddles.

They are, my yard was flooded in less than 30 minutes yesterday and hasn't dried out since this began 3 days ago. My babies are bunking in the chicken coop as their coop is flooded. The chicken coop is 3 feet off the ground so I know everyone is getting a warm, dry night. Spending 2 nights in there has made the geese friendlier to the ducks and goslings, so guess there is a silver lining. Lol.everyone is enjoying the worms and bugs that came out because of all this rain.

GM ~~ Last yr was my 1st time with ducks.. Friday I will be getting 2 African baby geese ( along with 2 In. runners)

They are adorable, whatever sex they end up being.

Got my first blackberries yesterday and the chickens, ducks, and geese loved them! I did too, lol. My Chinese geese and white ducks had dark stains around the bills after diving in. It was very cute.

Here is a pic I took of some of my geese sharing a pool.

Yes they are so adorable, but messy! My favorite thing is when i walk too far away from them they start running after me all wobbly with thier wings spread out. Makes for a good laugh.

I have a pair of African Geese (females). Your geese look like African Goslings.
If you plan on giving them feed do not feed them chicken feed! Especially with amprollium!
I feed mazuri waterfowl feed.

If you thiink geese are messy, ducks are much worse. I can't keep the ducklings bedding clean and dry no matter what I do. Thank goodness they are 3 weeks old and growing fast, I hope to let them free range with the other ducks next week. Right now they go into a playpen outside because 2 goslings think that 1 of my female ducks, Ebony, is their mommy, and the ducklings think Ebony is their mommy too, lol. The goslings are starting to follow the other geese around now though, so hopefully they figure out they are geese and not ducks and stop chasing the ducklings away from Ebony.
