Are these African goslings?

Poor Utah lost one of her whites, remember? I hope you manage to get some.  There are Africans here, but I´ve never seen one in the flesh, so they´re rare.  i´ve never even seen a photo of a white African here.  Chinese are very popular here, but then people are frightened of them.

Have fun with your huskies.  I used to be in the obedience, and in the Show Dog World, but got a bit put off by some breeds not being bred to do what they were supposed to do..you know, looks, not their ability.  I was into Dobermanns, and so many of them were and are too skinny, too timid, etc.  I liked the smart, strong ones that could guard with intelligence.  My sister still has a Dobermann, but it´s so far from what it should be.
Anyway, have fun.  :D

Crap that's right! I forgot she lost 1. Dang. I will wait a bit, then ask for hatching eggs. As stated I would have the only breeding whites here if I got a pair, so I would be able to seek easily. It would also improve a lot of serious goose breeders bloodlines to have quality stock from Utah added to theirs. Same with 8 and her Chinese geese. It's something that I would love to get involved in. I could also ensure that the better geese I sold go to serious breeders who would know what they are getting and how best to use them in a breeding program. Having something like that available would get some people away from buying as many hatchery goslings with such quality stock nearby. Plus, spreading them out will open the gene pool and allow us to maybe trade bloodlines later down the line.

I think I better get a desk and filing cabinet set up to keep track of all this breeding, lol. You think I found my job? So to speak. Lol.

I wanted to show Phantom, but he is too old to be trained now. He is turning into a gorgeous teenager though. He, Dawn, Sasha, and Cheyenne look stunning when I take my Siberians out. My rottwieller and Belgian malinois get some attention, but everyone has eyes for the showy dogs. I love my Belgian, he was a rescue, beaten and starved on the side of the road as a pup. And he has turned into the best watch dog we ever had. I will get another Belgian when he gets old and retires. My Rott was another rescue, heartworm positive, torn CCL ligament in right knee, arthritis in left hip, she was about to be euthanized when I found her.

My goodness, for a person with health challenges, you certainly have your hands full!

No blasting coming from me on you breeding Siberians. You unlike most have the idea of breeding for quality and improving the breed.

My comment about backyard breeders pertains to those who over breed, abuse, overpopulate, starve, neglect and board dogs for sale purposes.

:)

I have a pup I found at a true backyard breeder/puppy mill. She had never known human touch, what grass or being dry felt like, and she was 12 weeks old! She is AKC registered, but she has odd coloring so don't think she is actually pure bred. I called animal control to report what I saw, I hope they rescued the 16 other dogs there, but won't tell me anything.

Here is Phantom and Dawn, the pair I intend to breed.

It sucks cause AC probably put all those dogs down if they did retrieve them from the "puppy mill"
Shame on those people for abusing animals!!!!!!! The one pup was lucky to find a God send!!!!

PS. Those pups are squeezable!!!!!!!

Wouldn't have it any other way. My kids are at the age of pulling away from mom. And I tried the rest and relax therapy my doctors recommended, I got worse. My zoo gets me up and moving despite the pain, and I love them for it. Doing all this just makes me happy.

Thanks, we love them dearly.

But there are dog threads we could talk dog on, so we should probably get back to geese on this one, lol.

You think Utah will have hatching white African eggs next breeding season? I don't want to ask if she won't. But I'd love some of Utah's stock for my place.

She still has a pair, and she had more white Af goslings hatch if I remember correctly (bit fuzzy, as there´s no way I´ll be getting any, so don´t make mental notes). Need to pm her.
