Are these Ameraucana chicks?

I was sold two Blue Americauna chicks a couple days ago. They look very different obviously, the darker one looks to be right, but is the brown one actually an Ameraucana chick? Has anyone had one this color before?

They have feathered legs, so no, not Ameraucana. They could be olive eggers.

Ameraucanas have clean legs. Neither of these are pure bred, if they have Ameraucana in them at all.

From what I know about that Ameraucanas’ is that they have a little more fluffier face than most so that’s how I identify them.

Mutts. The black one has a pea comb, not sure on the other. In theory it could be a Buff Brahma, but since the other is mixed it's unlikely

“Americana” Is another name for Easter Eggers which are a mixed breed. I believe that is what you have.

No they are not “Ameraucanas” which are a pure breed.

Thank you. I asked the seller, whonhatched the eggs. She said they hatched from blue eggs. She asked the breeder she got the eggs from who said they were Ameraucana, but maybe there was miscommunication with the spelling being so close. I'll have to watch them grow up and see what they ultimately become and lay.
