These chicks were hatched April 1st. So that makes them about 2.5wks old. I've wanted BO's my whole life and I'm really hoping that these are BO's. If they aren't, can anyone tell me what they might be

I got some Buff Orpington chicks a few weeks ago and they were 3 weeks old they didn't really look like that. Although, I'm not completely sure if yours are buffs or not. They may be golden sex links but not completely sure of that either.
I'm completely heart broken. From doing some searches it looks like these may be cinnamon queens😭😭. Thank you for responding to my question

They look like Red Sex Links to me. They are excellent layers!
Do you happen to know how they are with children? I have 4 boys who are getting into 4-H and my whole breed selection was based on what breeds do best with kids. I had chose Salmon faverolles, silkies and buffs. But now my buffs are RSLRSL0

My Red Sex Links have always been friendly, and I have never had an issue with them and my younger family members.
I have 1 chick that is different from my other now RSL. It does not have the coloring that the other 3 have. It is also a lot smaller and constantly wants to be held. Is it a cockerell RSL or a different breed altogether

It could be a male RSL since it is lighter and doesn't have the brown stripes on its back. It will take some time to know for sure what breed it is.
