Are these ear tufts?

I just took in this hen from a pet shop today and also I've read about the ear tuft gene being lethal and personally I don't want this gene in my flock. Any thoughts if this indeed is an ear tuft? And also what breed this pullet is

Those are definitely ear tuft. She looks like a mixed breed.

Just as I thought.. Thanks mate! btw, if I breed her with a male with no ear tufts then I'll be getting 1/2 with ear tuft and 1/2 with none right? Btw I'm from the Philippines and this is how it is with our "native" chicken here - it's mix breed so we definitely can't call it a breed. Just sharing

That looks like a beard and muff to me.

Google Araucana chickens, they have ear tufts.

You hen has muffs/ beard. The muffs aren't a lethal gene, but true tufts on both parents can be. Here's what tufts look like

A single bird with the ear tuft gene will not produce lethal eggs unless you breed her own tufted chicks back to her or together[having two ear tuft genes will kill the egg], so no worries about that.

But those are Beard/Muffs, so no lethal gene at all.
