Are these Eggs dead? Candeling pics

I'm crossing my fingers on the second egg. Its the first silkie with and development (I have a lot of youngsters).
 
Yes #1 for sure is a blood ring

#2 to me looks to have quit. If you are on day 16 it would be a little more filled out.
