Lays cande from the fate end where the air sacred is. It makes it easier to see what's inside the egg.

you should start to see veins forming, but from the pictures it doesnt look like there are any. little bit more time couldnt hurt though

I think my broody must've stepped on one of the eggs today and cracked it. I checked to see if it was developing and it wasn't. Phew...I wouldn't have wanted her to have killed a devloping egg! I cracked open the other egg as well...no development there either (it smelled really bad though Thanks for everybody's help!!!!

Next time watch the yoke .there was a pretty obvious yoke in both pictures . At ten days the yoke will not be obvious . When the egg is inverted you if you see the entire mass move to the top or bottom that shouldn't happen at ten days .It is harder to tell with some darker eggs . Glad you pulled the stinker
