Solanacae
Crowing
First time hatching eggs and would love your help knowing if these are viable. I have several light shelled eggs I could see quite clearly into, and saw veining and movement.
I have one blue shelled egg (first two pictures) and one darker brown egg (last picture) that I can’t quite tell. I’ve put them back under mama hen for now, but if they’re not viable I don’t want to keep them around. It’s hard to get a good picture on the blue egg - but there’s a clear air sac line. I can’t see anything like that on the darker egg.
I had two (one light shelled, one darker brown) that I thought had quit when I candled on day 10 and cracked them open today over the compost heap to check - and I was correct, so I’m at least seeing some things correctly. The darker brown egg had a completely detached air cell. This is day 14.
