Easier than goats....???
Husband says he wants goats...
But no emus....

Thank you for that valuable information
😈
Goats for us did not work! They ate everything and got out of the pen constantly. Ate the wiring to the auto coop doors (completely) and the siding to the coops. Had to keep them separate from the chicken feed, as they would consume ALL of it then get sick. One had to be put down due to urinary calculi. They, even with making the sides of the pen taller, would get out. They were rehomed.

Emus on the other hand… have had them two years, they are great at scaring away predators, they eat the same feed (some people might get upset at me, I don’t care) and they don’t scale fences 🧐 They just fall over them if the fences are too short.

Moral of the story. You need two emu 😈

Yeahhh we used to have 3 goats (2 have passed) and they would get into EVERYTHING. Our female found out how to open metal trash bins that we use for feed, turn it on its side, and then feast in a matter of 2-3 minutes (she was QUICK and she taught her son how to do it too). Our last goat will get into anything if he got the chance but he's old and slow so its easier to hold him back.

It’s been HOOUUUURRS since your last post. Post something, anything. Can you hear babies? Are the eggs rocking? I’m stuck at home sick and with a fever. Covid negative. I’m whiny and need cheering up…
Testing negative doesn’t mean you don’t have Covid! I know from personal experience. I tested negative…. Had our wedding, then tested positive three days later. So take the test with a grain of salt. But hope you feel better soon!

I currently have the living room cam facing the incubator. Can’t see anything but will definitely be able to hear it!
