Lol, it’s such a nasty color

I’m not sure about that incubator, but I’ve found that plugging the cheaper ones in a week prior really makes sure the temps are completely stable.

Hoping this cabinet warms up and reads/holds temps correctly by tomorrow. It’s currently set at 100.0, but the thermostat is 98 in the incubator. Figured I’d turn it up nice and warm, then turn it down before putting anything in.

It may need a new element if it's older.

That could be. So far it’s holding, but it’s saying 1.5 to 2 degrees more than it really is. Going to tape a mercury thermometer to the viewing window as well.

I let 12/16 cool a little and make sure it’s still good. Saw a wiggle, which is great. But I can tell by feel that the air cell hasn’t been used up by it yet. Starting to think it could be deformed and not able to fully develop.

I can see how today is going to be! Negative Nancy here is going to attempt another dirt bike ride. It’s 7 am and just got to the parking lot. Hope my headlamp works on the bike!

Oh, forgot to mention… put all of the eggs except 12/16 into the cabinet

Absolutely amazing. 37 tough miles and a few minor, stupid crashes. Nothing out of the ordinary lol
