How about heated mattress pad or heated blanket?
Going to run down to Wally World or some other similar store and see what’s available. I’ll pick up something larger either way. Thanks for the ideas!

More peeps! Congrats! I hope they're not all male like it's looking.
What do baby emus eat? Game bird feed?
The green banded one’s butt check was inconclusive. But leaning male as well. The good thing about males… they make fantastic pets.

I feed 20% broiler/starter to all the birds - which is basically all flock. The emus LOVE spinach and blueberries. So half of their diet is that plus watered down starter. There is ratite feed, but I’ve never fed it. The emus are in a mixed flock, but have to be provided greens and fruit.

3 little ones all out of their shells this morning. Samples are drying out and the wee ones are color coded.

Did a butt check on the second one and it looks to be male as well 🧐

Going with “Yellow tag” being male as well.

Haven’t checked green ones butt yet. But I can definitely see a white dot, which indicates male on the first two. I probably didn’t see the dot on the first one that hatched last week.

Fingers crossed for some girls!

They're so precious!

If they stayed that size I'd want a dozen! ;)
