To stay outside in their coop overnight without a heat bulb as long as temps are above 50?

Yes, I have had mine out already and we have had temps in the mid 30s. They did just fine.

Agreed they look fully feathered! Mine went out last week at 7weeks and did great, and they seem so much happier.

how old are they? mine are five weeks and have been out for 3 nights and love it. Its been in the 50s at night and suppose to be mid 30s this weekend. Im debating on keeping them. More feathers seem to have appeared since they been out.

I meant debating on keeping them outside during the 30s. I don't use a heat source.

I think mine are between five and six weeks. They have outgrown the brooder now just waiting on dh to finish coop and pen

Yeah it's truely dependent on their feathering I waited till almost 8weeks to be on the safe side they had a spare room to take over. I was super paranoid LOL. But they are super happy now, and have been outside for over a week enduring the 30 degree weather and a 3 day rain/thunder storm.
