Are these girls mixed cochins?

What do I have here...I was given these 2 girls and dont know a thing about cochins. Are they mixed?

the top one looks like one of my brahma crosses, the bottom one very well could be a cochin cross going by the shape. such a beautiful color!

I agree. The first one looks like a Buff Brahma. And the bottom one looks like a gold laced cochin. How old are they?

They will be a year old in September. They are so sweet and good natured. Thankyou so much for the help

I could see buff brahma on the first bird but I don't think the second one looks anything like a cochin. Cochins are supposed to be fluffy puffballs, that bird is not. Could be a brahma mix. I can't see the comb very well, but at a year if it were a pure straight comb it should be a lot larger so I'm thinking mix. And the color isn't gold laced, it's a mixed color.
