Hey everyone! I am hoping all 3 of these are hens! Let me know what you think. 2 are leghorns and the other is a red star/bantam mix.

Also, I was just curious-- Is it true that a huge clue in telling the gender is a red comb at a young age?

They look like girls. And yes a red comb early on usually means roo. Especially if it's red and bigger in comparison to other chicks it's age.

Thanks everyone! Any other opinions? I do have another question- the red star/bantam (3rd picture), she seems to have long tail feathers. I've read thats roo-ish? but i have a black star/bantam (https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=506105) the same age and he has a red comb and its pretty big also wattles. But he has a short stubby tail. Opinions?
