Are these just farm mixes or do they have some OEGB in them?

I found a member on here with a avatar that looks just like my rooster (as far as I could tell) so I asked her what breed it was and she said it was a Old English Game Bantam...Silver Duckwing! I searched around and found some pictures on here that looked very much like my hen and my rooster!

I know that the feathered legs are a clear indicator that they are not pure (Obviously) but could there be some OEGB in their history somewhere? One of their chicks has clean legs if that means anything!

They are certainly OEH, well done. I would say the hen is pure and your roo is so pretty and yes silver duckwing.

There mixed breed, Old English Game Bantams (OEGB) are a clean legged breed, your birds have feathered legs.
Also so the color of the rooster is a Golden Duck-wing he cares both the Silver gene (as in a silver duck-wing) and Gold (as in a black breasted red) the hen look to be a sibling to the rooster.

Thanks for the pictures! So they are OEGB Golden Duck-wing? How did you know that they are siblings?

Thanks you :) You might not see it on the picture too well but the hen also has some feathers on her feet so she can't be pure! But at least now I'm sure they are more OEGB than anything else!

The color is Golden Duck-wing yes but they are not pure, they are mixed.
OEGB do not have feathered feet as I said in my last post.

I believe there siblings because there both feather legged and a OEGB cross of what looks to be the same age.

Oh yeah I see it now, sorry. But yes Chris is right golden duck wing. Very pretty good luck with them. Maybe you could breed the cross out of them with the off spring you would have to get another hen or rooster though.

Thanks! Yes I hope the little un-feather-legged chick grows up well and can reproduce!
