Yes baby is nice and healthy but today started to eat
Made me feel much better
All 3 are doing fantastic

Oh that's great news!! Just when you start to worry they do what they need to do! Get ready for the poop!!

This happens to me all the time, but then again I am a master worrier and I am even really good at manufacturing things to worry about

Oh the poop has begun
The more they start to eat the more mess we get
But I’m happy all are eating now
All are walking great and no leg issues
Can’t wait to see these guys running around in the yard
Won’t take long as they grow fast

Anytime I rest my arm in the brooder they come snuggle in

How are all the new baby Emu’s doing ?
My 3 munchkins are great
They have moved out of the house brooder into a pen in the duck coop
I let them out to run around with the ducks and chickens yesterday
They sure had a blast
Was only for an hour with me out there as they are still small

I am sorry I totally spaced responding here!
I am glad your babies are doing so well! Sadly, I gave mine up to the lady who bought my 2 girls from February. Too many life factors right now for me to focus on a better enclosure and give them what they deserve. As hard as it was for me to let these two go, they'll have an actual mob to live in and they'll have a better life and just as much love as I was going to give them. The lady runs a bird rescue and while the emus are more for her joy and entertainment she did rescue an adult male. So now she has five emu and she just dotes on those babies just like I would. I feel good about the better life that she will give them. They have even created a splash pad that's is on a timer that goes off throughout the day in the giant emu pen. They have a better life for sure. She sends me pictures and videos and they're only an hour away so I can go visit.
