Are these ladies Ready to Lay?

My EE just laid today, at nearly 24 weeks. She was squatting and scarfing down oyster shell for about a week.

I am not sure that these are all EE hens. They may have selected 4 of each breed to give a different color egg. They came from purely poultry. I ordered all EE but I think they are not all EE.

The wattles look very red to me. We are at 20 weeks. EE hens.

Only a couple look 'reddy'.
None look to be EE's.
20 weeks might still be a bit early, depending on where you live.

I am super upset about not getting EE chickens. I looked at the website and 8 out of 12 chickens are not even EE chickens . I do not like killing chickens and I have too much invested in them to give them away

Are you sure that the black and white one in the third picture isn’t an EE?

none of these are Easter Eggers. Two look to me like Gold Laced Wyandottes. I wouldn't be upset, but I'd call and get a full refund. Then ask them to send you a couple of EE or blue layers to make up for it.
I find if they are born early in the year (before June) they always lay by halloween. If they are born July..then no eggs til April.
