Are these pointy?

I’m going to have to change my answer to “I don’t know”. Your right, those wattles are quite red for 6 weeks and those feathers coming in now are pointy. Has the wattles or comb gotten any bigger in the past two weeks? Any color coming in on his wings?

Well, they’re now 10 weeks. Here are a couple more pictures of the bird.

Weird question but do you see the other birds in his flock dancing? I’ve noticed when I have a cockerel the other chicks dance with him.

I’ll have to agree. Saddle feathers and typical rooster colors on the wings should be obvious by now. The red wattles and red around the face and comb confused me. I’ll say she’s a pullet until she starts to crow. :D

They all seem to do little dances with each other. My older gals did too when they were young. I just figured they were establishing the “pecking order”

Looks like a pullet so far to me. Saddle feathers still look round on the tips. If the saddle feathers start looking like the hackle feathers, then you have a roo.
