Are these really Indian runner ducks?

I purchased these as day old pet quality Indian runners, they are now 15-16 weeks.
I had someone comment that they believe my birds are not indian runners, especially the one with the dark beak, runner crosses at best. I just figured being pet quality they aren't as slim and upright. Thoughts?
These are just pets with bonus eggs but just checking in case I ever incubate eggs, would hate to sell crosses as pure

the name pet quality implies they are less than standard show quality, but it doesnt mean they dont Have great qualities

Your ducks are beautifull and are definitly indian runners

Thanks Jpat and Miss Lydia. They are perfect in my eyes even if they aren't what you typically expect to see (eg wine bottle) but I would hate to call something which it is not. now to sit back and continue the wait for the first egg, I hear duck eggs are fantastic

They are! I have 9 Indian Runners love them to pieces. They are eggs from Metzers ducks. Show quality they are not but still have the erect Runner looks. Just like yours. I notice it most when they are standing at attention!

You will love the eggs and the runners! I personally think show quality is too extreme. Of ducks or dogs. Yours look perfect to me. Did I say the eggs are delicious.

I agree, the show quality looks a but too um, fancy for me.
My mum had muscovy for a while but I lived to far away to try them and she had sold them before I moved back, so I'm super excited to finally try duck eggs especially from my own

Your runners are gorgeous. I have 3 and they each have their own unique trait. You will fall in love with their personalities. And then there are the eggs. They are the absolute best! We all look forward to more pics and for you to get some eggs.
