How can you tell hen from rooster?
Just to add the hackle and saddle feathers are longer and pointed. If you look at your hens feathers you'll notice they are rounded at the base of the neck and back below the tail.

Just stop what exactly? He asked A question. I was responding. Sooo why don't you stop. And you can't gage the weight of a bird through a photo btw. She could be on the small side.
Silver Laced Wyandotte.
So, the opinion of some "neighbor" is a good indicator that the birds are underfed and nutritionally deficient as opposed to the visual evidence provided by the poster that shows the birds are fine.
Don't follow your logic...
I didn't state my opinion. Just that if the bird is underweight it could be from protein or lack of feed. Obviously hes not starving the birds. I did not say that or imply it. You have no clue what experience his neighbor has. For all you know she could have grown up on a farm raising chickens her entire life. And Austrolorps are hefty birds. The pullets I gave to my in laws are a good amount heavier than her other various pullets so what could be enough for most his birds might just not be enough for her to "bulk up" as he called it. So why don't you leave me the heck alone and stop harassing me for providing him info that he asked for. If he has a problem with something I said let him deal with it.
Disagreeing with your poorly formed opinion in a public forum...yes....
Harassing you... no way...
