About ten weeks ago I got 7 two week old chicks. To me, it seems like 4-5 of them are roosters. Two I know are but three I'm almost sure about. I need to know because I am giving away one very soon and need to be sure. Can anyone tell with these pics? He is about 12 weeks old (3 months)

100% sure that's a cockerel. He has wing patches bleeding through and rooster saddle feathers showing.

Sorry, I'm a newbie, what are wing patches?
There is a single brick red feather in the middle of his wing surrounded by darkish blue feathers. That's a wing patch. If you look at pictures of roosters, you'll see they often have a patch of either red or white right there as part of their pattern. His is mostly obscured by the blue but it's still there.

Don't know the breed but, often the red patch over wings (on birds that aren't predominantly red) is called "The red patch of doom." Because it is such a good indicator in most breeds, doom = cockerels.
