Are these sea shells a good source of calcium? PICS INSIDE

I live in a seashore and can get sea shells, oyester shells etc. I want to make sure from if its ok to grind and put in my chicken feed mix? Let me know if its ok :) thank you

I would be leery of the salt content....plus can you break them up?
Pretty cheap to buy a bag of processed OS.
Farm stores have 50# bags for about $12....last me for a couple years.
 
If you can rinse it thoroughly to remove the salt, and crush it up into small flakes, should be fine for calcium. Don't mix it into your feed though, have it on the side for hens to take as needed.
