But I'm glad you posted this cause I was considering ordering the BLRW's because I loved the colors. I can't find them anywhere near me and I was willing to get the banties. I think Mcmurry has some standard BLRW's. I May do a small order from there. Are you going to keep the ones you have? Do you think they'll refund or send you "real" BLRW's? They should when it doesn't look like the breed.

I'll keep them for a while...mainly because I won't sell them to someone without knowing what they are. Wait, I know what they are, little pigs! They eat constantly! If it weren't for the size, I'd have thought some kind of broiler or something! heh They're definitely banties, though.

I don't know what they will do, if anything. If they sent me the wrong order, I'd totally be up for a real order from them, but if this is what they are trying to pass off as BLRW, I'll pass. A friend had a gorgeous cock from them earlier in the year, though which makes me think it was a mistake. BUT their web site for BLRW shows chicks looking exactly like these. Too confusing. *sigh*

They replied back this morning that they'll send me another shipment or a credit. I told them if these are blrw chicks and what I can expect them to look like if I get more, I'd rather have a credit.

Yeah, we'll see. I offered pics and she said that'd be good b/c if it's just their blrw, they wouldn't want to send me more and have me be disappointed which is good.

So, six have feathered out solid white like this

One is darker like this (dark brown and white)

The other three are this muted brown and white

Cute chicks, but NOT blrw looking at all.
