Are These Two Different Breeds of Chicks?

I'm only familiar with Barred Rocks, but going by the comb size and color, I'd say you have a pair, with the top one being a roo.

Not a different breed, which I suspect might be a mix, because of the different combs.. But the lighter one is a cockeral.

They're Dominiques. Looks like you got a rooster and four pullets. Barred-colored birds (such as Dominiques, Barred Rocks, etc) are colored slightly differently by sex. Males are homozygous for barring, and so are lighter in color. Hens are only heterozygous for barring and so are darker in color.

This picture shows what I'm talking about: http://www.californiahatchery.com/Dominique-Chicken-_p_41.html

That is why I am asking to see what experienced chicken owners think. I am new to raising chicks.
When I had gotten the babies they were 2 days old--I had actually had to wait 2 weeks until the "Dominiques" came in. When I got to the store - Agway- they had all these babies of different breeds in a huge tub. So now out of the six 1 is definately an Australorp and the other 5 which are suppose to be Dominiques- 4 look alike and 1 doesn't. But now between the Barred Rocks and Dominiques what is the difference in the breeds?

Nice looking pic of your chicks!

Oh- PLEASE don't tell me the top one may be a rooster--"Charolette" is kinda my favorite. I would be quite sad if I had to give "her" up.

Also what kind of chicken is a BR??

i thought that Charlotte may be a Charleton too... the males seam to be lighter in coloring not much bit enough that when they are mature you'll see the difference.. the comb is the tell tale... Barred rocks. have a single comb and your doms should have a pea comb. your's by the pics have good Pea combs.. Charlotte or Charleton seams to have a very roo red comb al ready..

from this pic you should be albe to see the difference int he comb from your dom to my BR.. also dont know .hope you can see his tail is a different shape it fans our and the girls rounds under..
