Both are Hatchery quality golden laced sebrights. Single combs have a higher fertility rate than birds with rose combs.I have a rooster and a hen that look alike except for their cones are different. Can anyone help me with what breed they are?
If you breed them, you could run the single comb gene out of the genotypes of their offspring. It isn't so hard since single combs are recessive.Thank you so much! They are so different in other way the hen is very shy and stays in the back ground, is always the last out of the pen. The rooster is very showy and rules the roost, has actually spurred me. He is younger than her at 4 & a half months and she is about a year & a half.
