Are they all girls?

Geese waddle, chickens have wattles

Yeah, that's why I never want to say with certainty. It is so hard to tell from pictures because monitors display colors differently and lighting can be so different as well. However the difference in color that is showing in that third pic is what I was trying to verbally describe as the difference in color between a pullet and a cockerel. If, in reality, any of the birds had that darker, shinier look that is showing in that photo, I would guess cockerel. If in person they all appear to be the same color, they likely are all pullets.

They look like they are coloring out nicely. Did you get them from a breeder or a hatchery? They look like nicer Rhode Island Reds than I usually see from a hatchery so if they are hatchery birds, I'm glad to see the hatcheries are picking up their game.

I got them from a local pet/garden/feed store. Not sure where they were originally from. They were sold as pullets, so they were $5 each, more expensive than at the other feed stores, but last time we got chicks at the other feed store, half of them ended up as roos and we had to give them away on craigslist, so I was willing to spend a bit more to make sure I got girls this time. They've also been eating organic corn and soy free feed since they were 2 weeks old (when I bought them) and have been free-range since they were 8-ish weeks old.

Not really. All the skin on their faces has darkened to a red color (around their eyes and along the lower jaw where their waddles will be) and the combs are the same color as the rest of their faces or a little lighter still. One of them has a bigger comb than the others, but not by much, it's still pretty small. Two of them have bigger tails, but none of the long, pointy feathers of a roo. I think the fact that they are 12 weeks old now, and everything I've read says that roos start diffirentiating at 4-6 weeks, means they're all girls. If any of them were roos they'd already have distinctly bigger combs and waddles.

I'd be stunned if the one with the long tail feathers is not a cockerel. I think that may be the one you are questioning yourself since there are more photos of him on his own than of the others. In the first picture he is standing second from front, looking left.

This one looks questionable to me as well. Though, I won't say that I am shocked if I am wrong.

Actually, it's purely cooincidental that I took more pictures of that one than the others, but no, I don't actually think that might be a roo. Like I said, they're now 13 weeks old, their combs and waddles are JUST starting to get bigger, none of them have bright red combs, they're all kind of pinkish, none have started crowing, they all make a low clucking sound like a hen, none have thicker legs, none are noticably larger than the others. From what I've been reading, cockerels start differentiating at 4-6 weeks old. Unless one is just a REALLY late bloomer, I think I'm pretty safe.
